” Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. (Psalm 95: 1-2)
Praise and Worship saints, Praise and Worship. Those are the most powerful sources in heaven. Sometimes we have to acknowledge our God with praise, sometimes prayer is not enough, spending time with the Word is not enough. Praise and Worship is the same as watering your plants everyday, not only does it magnify the Lord but it also intercedes for us.
Our Lord does so many things for us saints. No matter what you might have in that moment, when you look around there aint much to claim as yours; but that doesn’t mean He’s not worthy to be praised. When you praise your spirit rejoices, it’s as if God is breathing a new pure Spirit unto you.
Sometimes you might not know what’s happening in the spiritual realm that’s about to happen in the physical.you’ll feel down; you can’t open the bible, you can’t even pray. You feel as though something is pressing you down, you praise and worship. Satan was a worshipper himself so when you praise he excuses himself from your way. Jesus said we must resist the devil and he will flee from us, there are many ways to resist and one of the many is when you praise and worship God.
There are many ways to please the Lord but the closest one is praise, You acknowledge Him for who He is in your life. When you call unto His name, He rejoices. When a parent gives something to a child, it’s more decent when a child says thank you. Not many receive what the child is given no matter how much it is or how small it is. Juanita Bunum says in one of her songs, “You are Holy, what a priviledge and honour to worship at your throne, to be callled into your presence as your own.” It feels good when one belongs, so we are so priviledged that the one with a higher power calls us His own.
” My heart is steadfast oh Lord, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord among the nations;I will sing of you among peoples.”( Psalm 57). David said this words when He was being persecuted, He says he was in the midst of lions and he lay among ravenous beasts. But that didnt stop him to praise our Lord, for he knew in Him he finds rest, It is well with him when he is in the presence of the most High.
Saints while you still can worship and praise the Lord. Let us acknowledge the Lord, let us press on to acknowlege Him. As surely as the sun rises He will appear, He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that waters the earth. (Hosea 6:3)
